Nila Family Restaurant recently wrapped up a highly successful soft opening, bringing fine-dining Kerala and Indian cuisine right to the heart of downtown. While they are gearing up for their official Grand Opening announcement soon, you can still order their delicious dishes.

🚒 Moncton Fire Battles Blaze at Walmart The Walmart on Plaza Blvd is temporarily closed following a fire late Monday night. Moncton Fire responded to reports of burning wooden and plastic pallets outside the rear of the building. The fire spread up the exterior steel siding, causing some smoke damage inside, but a team of 24 firefighters managed to get it under control quickly. Fortunately, all workers were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported. [Read more]

Earns Top Marks for Internal Trade New Brunswick is making major strides in interprovincial cooperation, earning an 'A' grade from the Canadian Federation of Independent Business (CFIB) for its progress in breaking down internal trade barriers. 💻 Health Minister Admits Virtual Care Transition Challenges The provincial government recently transitioned to its new health-care platform, Virtual Care NB, replacing the previous eVisitNB system. The service is designed to assess and treat common illnesses and handle prescription renewals seven days a week. However, the health minister acknowledged there have been some transition hurdles and patient frustrations as the province shifts to this new guided-entry model via MyHealthNB and Tele-Care 811.
